Embracing the Asian Games, Leading with Civility

Amidst the scorching summer heat, a wave of"Asian Games" experience swept through the Asian Games venues of Wenzhou Sports Center. Recently, a group of representatives of good deeds from all levels of the Lucheng District, along with citizens and tourists, totaling 30 people, participated in the"Embracing the Asian Games, Leading with Civility" observation tour of the Asian Games venues. The aim of this event is to further create a strong atmosphere among the citizens to welcome, participate in, and promote the Asian Games, strengthen the interaction between the Asian Games preparations and the society, and fully inspire the spirit of"ownership" among the general public. 

It is reported that the Wenzhou Sports Center Stadium is one of the venues for the football group stage matches of the Hangzhou Asian Games. During the Asian Games, there will be six men's football matches and three women's football matches held at this venue."The grass you see here is not as ordinary as it seems. In fact, there is a complete intelligent monitoring system underneath, which uploads various data of the lawn to the cloud platform's data center through 18 sensors, in order to achieve the goal of'smart lawn care.' Only then can the condition of the entire lawn reach a top-notch level during the matches," explained the guide on-site, leaving the observation group in awe of the highlights within the Asian Games venues.

Led by the guide, the citizens visited the functional rooms for events and the spectator areas inside the venue, as well as the surrounding area with adjustable high-pole lights, allowing everyone to gain a multi-dimensional and more professional understanding of the sports craftsmanship design concepts and functional divisions of the venue. Zhang Beibei, a good-hearted resident of Nantang in Wenzhou, was excited about the visit to the Asian Games venue. She said,"I pass by here every day, and occasionally come to the venue for some exercise in the evening, but it's the first time I've had such a detailed understanding. During the tour, I couldn't help but take out my phone to take pictures and check-in. After visiting the entire venue, I feel even more excited for the upcoming Asian Games."

At the Wenzhou Wangchao South Suburb Sports Park, the observation group encountered a group of young football players sweating on the green field. It is worth mentioning that this area is Wenzhou's first train-themed sports park, integrating sports, railways, urban green spaces, and other cultural elements. It serves as a sports park that combines sports and leisure activities, outdoor exploration, and event hosting. Yin Zhisong, a Wenzhou Good Samaritan, said,"Just now, during the explanation, I learned that this place used to be a wasteland. Transforming the'leftover corners' of urban space into a'golden edge' for public fitness is a great thing."

On the same day, the observation group also visited the Wenzhou Family Tradition and Family Education Museum at Bailuzhou Park. Centered around the theme of"Passing Down Excellent Family Traditions, Nurturing Wenzhou's Most Beautiful Family Values," the museum delves deep into the core of Wenzhou's local family culture, narrating the four periods of development of Wenzhou's excellent family traditions.
