The 23rd China Electrical Culture Festival and Digital Economy Development Conference commenced recently at the Yueqing City Sports Center in Wenzhou. One of the main events was the simultaneous International Electrical Products Expo.
Spanning an exhibition area of 45,000 square meters, the event featured 600 standard booths and various themed sections. Prominent institutions like Taotian Group and Amazon conducted a wide range of promotional roadshows and product launches, providing a diverse, upscale, and international platform for the application of advanced technologies in the industry. The exhibition aimed to facilitate trade negotiations, product procurement, and investment cooperation.
Compared to previous editions, this year's expo integrated next-generation digital technologies such as VR and metaverse. It invited overseas buyers, overseas Chinese, foreign business representatives, and foreign government delegations to promote the integration of Yueqing's electrical industry in domestic and international trade, fostering a dual circulation system.
By establishing online and offline platforms for the Electrical Culture Festival, the expo enabled exhibitors to comprehensively present their advantages and capabilities. This initiative offered on-site visitors a more tangible understanding of the products while also providing online attendees with an immersive exhibition experience.
On November 8, the 23rd China Electrical Culture Festival and Digital Economy Development Conference officially opened. Simultaneously, several projects involving industrial cooperation, production and sales collaboration, and production and technology partnerships were signed. These projects amount to 19 in total, with a planned investment of 13.89 billion RMB. They are expected to inject new vitality into the development of Yueqing.
The successive convening of these conferences signifies Yueqing's determination to empower the digital transformation of the electrical industry cluster while confidently mapping out a blueprint for the development of the digital economy.
From its initial"front shop, back factory" family workshop model to becoming renowned as"China's Electrical Capital," Yueqing's electrical and electronic industry has now evolved into a billion-dollar industry cluster comprising over 6,000 product categories and more than 25,000 models. The region boasts over 14,000 electrical and electronic companies, with low-voltage electrical appliances accounting for over 65% of the national market share.
Facing the emergence of a new round of digital economy innovation and development, Yueqing aims to expand and strengthen its digital economy to support high-quality development. The goal is to propel the industry cluster onto the world stage, showcasing its robust digital economy capabilities.(ZhongXin)
