This edition of the expo, themed"Poetic Mountains and Seas: Sharing a Green Life," will focus on five key directions:"People's Garden Expo, International Garden Expo, Pioneer Garden Expo, Cultural Garden Expo, and Citywide Garden Expo." The event aims to innovate its approach and highlight unique features. The Wenzhou Garden Expo Park project officially commenced in October last year, and preparations are now in full swing.

Wenzhou has designated 13 sub-venues across the city. Lucheng District will host a park city sub-venue around Doucheng Park, while Longwan District will integrate public art with industry through Eye Valley Town. Other sub-venues include Dongtou's"Sea Garden," Yueqing and Yongjia's landscape gardens, Ruian's rural gardens, and Ouhai's green living circle. Visitors can enjoy a diverse range of landscapes, from classical gardens to modern designs, and from rural fields to marine culture, through interconnected cultural and tourism routes.
The expo's exhibition system includes one classic Chinese garden theme park, 33 city exhibition gardens (featuring 11 international cities, 11 domestic provinces and cities, and 11 Zhejiang cities showcasing local landscapes), and six themed exhibition areas. These areas will cover innovation and entrepreneurship, Ou-style national trends, landscaping materials and art, future gardens, plant collections, and children's gardens. The 33 city gardens, covering approximately 89,000 square meters, will represent major Chinese and global garden styles, offering visitors an immersive experience of world horticulture.

Leveraging the unique resources of the"World Wenzhou People," the expo has invited 12 overseas Wenzhou-born leaders to serve as international ambassadors for promotion and participation. Design teams from nine countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan, Thailand, and Uzbekistan, are already involved in the garden designs. A special"Maritime Silk Road Garden" will showcase the cultures of countries along the Belt and Road, and the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) will participate for the first time with a unique IFLA garden.
Visitors to the Wenzhou Garden Expo Park will experience classic garden styles from around the world, including British natural landscapes, French classical gardens, Italian terraced gardens, Japanese gardens, and Islamic gardens.
Notably, the expo will utilize digital twin technology to create a"Cloud Garden Expo," enabling precise digital management throughout the project lifecycle to reduce costs and improve efficiency. To ensure long-term operation, a digital industry incubator,"Garden Expo Workshop," will be established to develop digital infrastructure and foster industries like live-streaming, AI, and digital media, injecting new economic growth into the park and positioning it as a hub for high-quality living.(Zhang Min)
