作品简介：浙江省温州市的泰顺县是浙江90个县（市、区）中最为偏远的之一。在泰顺县司前镇的新北村有一户普通人家，女主人李美珍是永康外嫁到泰顺的。8年前，她留意到自己儿子的同班同学中有一个孩子总是躲在学校的角落里，不与人交流，作业也时常不完成，便好奇向班主任打听。后来得知孩子的父母已经不在，带大他的亲人是八十多岁的奶奶。作为一个母亲，她觉得这世上最可怜的孩子就是没有父母的孩子，于是，她决定把这个孩子带回家养，如今已经上高二了。

也正出于这种照顾，让李美珍的故事在当地传开，一些留守儿童陆陆续续地被送到她家里。丈夫接工程干，妻子在家专职照顾小孩，义务抚养这些孩子。面对外界的质疑，李美珍没有作回应，只是专心地做自己认为对的事。八年来，家里孩子最多的时候达到9个，李美珍给了他们精神的依靠和寄托。

Wenzhou’s Taishun County in Zhejiang Province is one of the most remote among the 90 counties (cities, districts) in Zhejiang.

In the village of Xinbei in Siqian Town, Taishun County, there is an ordinary family. The hostess, Li Meizhen, moved from Yongkang to Taishun after marriage. Eight years ago, she noticed a child in her son’s class who always hid in a corner of the school, avoiding interaction with others, and frequently left assignments incomplete. Curious, she inquired with the class teacher and learned that the child’s parents were no longer around, and his relatives were his eighty-year-old grandmother. As a mother, she felt that the most pitiful child in the world is one without parents. Therefore, she decided to bring this child home, and he has now reached the second year of high school.

It is due to this care that Li Meizhen’s story spread locally, and some left-behind children were gradually sent to her home. While her husband works on construction projects, Li Meizhen dedicates herself to taking care of the children, voluntarily raising them. Faced with external skepticism, Li Meizhen remains silent and focuses on doing what she believes is right. Over the eight years, the maximum number of children in her home reached nine, she offered them spiritual support and solace.
