According to information obtained from Wenzhou Business Bureau on April 28th, the Provincial Department of Commerce and the Provincial Department of Finance recently announced the list of special financial funds for the development of provincial commerce, trade and openness in 2024. Three projects from our city have been selected to receive support from these funds.
The projects selected include Wenzhou Lianshang Technology Co., Ltd.'s"Cross-border E-commerce Park for Wenzhou GLasses" and Zhejiang Chengshu Network Technology Co., Ltd.'s"Industry-promoting-Trade Industry Cloud Station + Cross-border Independent Station Integration Platform," which are both key projects in the cross-border e-commerce pilot area. Zhejiang Wuma Aoen Technology Co., Ltd.'s"Aoen Technology Metaverse Construction" has been selected as a high-quality development project in digital trade.
In recent years, Wenzhou Business Bureau has been expediting the development of cross-border e-commerce, digital trade and other new formats and models in foreign trade, driving innovative development throughout the city. In September of last year, Wenzhou facilitated the establishment of Zhejiang Artiking-Wenzhou Municipal Government Overseas Chinese Warehouse Alliance, under the guidance from Wenzhou Overseas Chinese Association, as well as the establishment of the Wenzhou Overseas Chinese and Overseas Chinese Warehouse Alliance, actively exploring the"Overseas Chinese + Overseas Warehouse" model. Currently, Wenzhou has established a total of 68 overseas warehouses (including 55 public overseas warehouses), with 5 provincial-level public overseas warehouses and 7 municipal-level public overseas warehouses completed. In November of last year, Wenzhou integrated high-quality resources throughout the entire cross-border e-commerce chain and established the Municipal Cross-border E-commerce Public Service Center, providing businesses with one-stop public services.
To deepen the development of"cross-border e-commerce + industrial belt," Wenzhou is actively promoting the construction of cross-border e-commerce industrial parks. A total of 5 provincial-level industrial parks, 3 municipal-level industrial parks, and 22 featured industrial parks have been established, continuously enhancing the scale, clustering and standardization levels of the cross-border e-commerce industry.
Wenzhou Business Bureau will take the opportunity presented by these selected projects to focus on the upgrading of cross-border e-commerce industrial parks, accelerate the enhancement and expansion of market entities, continuously improve the closed-loop industry ecosystem, actively construct overseas warehouse development matrix, cultivate a competitive edge in digital service trade, and promote the healthy development of new formats such as cross-border e-commerce and digital trade across the city.(ZhongXin)
