10 enterprises in Wenzhou listed in the second batch of intelligent factories (digital workshops) of Zhejiang

Recently, the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang province announced the list of the second batch of intelligent factories (digital workshops) of 2022 in Zhejiang. Among the 89factories (workshops) on the list, 10 are from Wenzhou,includingDesai Group Co., Ltd.Up to now, Wenzhou boasts 74of its kind in total.

It is learned that Zhejiang started the provincial-level intelligent factories (digital workshops) evaluation work in2019. The 10 selected enterprisesfromWenzhou involve shoes, glasses, valves, electronics, auto parts, printing and packaging, and other industries.

For example, Desai Group Co., Ltd., with aninvestment of350 million yuan, started the construction of the Desai Sci-tech Park in Fashion& Intelligent Manufacturing Town of Ouhai District in 2019, and began operation in 2021. Nowadays, the company is using the most advanced intelligent robots in the shoes production line on the brushing, sanding, package and other processes, whose information team members integrate the electrical equipment, information equipment and software engineering to create an intelligent workshop to supervisethe whole processof production and operation. The Desai Sci-tech Park is truly a modern smart park that realizes digitalization of manufacturing with functions such as intelligent assembly lines, smart workshops, and intelligent unmanned logistics centers.

It is known that the relevant departments will further strengthen policy support for provincial-level intelligent factories (digital workshops). Wenzhou will also strengthen publicity and encourage enterprises to actively promote intelligent manufacturing to accelerate the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. The selected enterprises should continue to play a leading role in deepening the next generation of information technology application, and enhance the level of digitalization in design, production, logistics, management, and services, to form the new technology, new equipment, and new model, which will in return benefit the digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of industry enterprises.
