As night falls, 72 Yoshino cherry trees shed their daytime simplicity and sway gracefully under custom-designed lights that blend yellow and white hues. For two consecutive years, the park has upgraded its night cherry blossom lighting project, creating a multi-dimensional"moonlight + supplementary light" illumination system through alternating warm and cool tones."Building on the existing infrastructure, we added 46 new lighting fixtures, including spotlights and wall lamps, and invited professional photographers to assist with adjustments. We repeatedly fine-tuned the angles of the lights to highlight the texture of the petals while avoiding overexposure, ensuring visitors can effortlessly capture stunning photos."

"The nine-grid limit on social media isn't enough to post all these photos!" said Zhang Jingru, a local resident holding a Sony camera as she moved through the cherry blossom pathway. Her lens alternated between flower branches and bustling crowds. Many visitors like her have been inspired by posts on social media platforms, with hashtags such as #MaAnChiNightBlossoms and #WenzhouNightBlossoms dominating platforms like Xiaohongshu, Douyin, and Weibo, accumulating over 5 million views.

"The success of the night cherry blossoms has also significantly boosted foot traffic to the surrounding Da'nan business district, showcasing the potential for transforming beautiful flowers into a flourishing economy," said Ji Baoyin."Next year, we plan to upgrade the cherry blossom avenue by planting additional trees, adding more lighting, and extending the viewing routes to attract even more visitors and further stimulate consumption growth in the area through floral tourism."(Zhang Wenxi)
